Because Ecuador is our home, Galapagos Best can put together any combination of visits and experiences. All our mainland Ecuador tours are tailor-made to your requirements. Here is a sample itinerary:
5 day Andes Tour
| Day 1 | Arrival in Quito. Your guide will meet you at the International Airport and take you to your hotel - the Alameda Real /Mercure 5***** Breakfast included. |
| Day 2 | City tour of Quito and to the "Mitad del Mundo" (middle of the world) with lunch. After we finish the city tour we will be driving south through the Pan-American Highway down to the town of Baños. We will be lodging at the beautiful Spa Hosteria Agoyan, which is located outside the town. Dinner included. |
| Day 3 | Tour to the Waterfalls of Baños, cross the cable car over the Pastaza River, drive back to the town of Baños where we will have lunch. We will then drive to the city of Riobamba; we will cross the foot hills of the Tungurahua Volcano which has been active for the last seven years, and we'll be able to see how the landscape has changed over that time. In Riobamba we will lodge at the Hosteria Abraspungo. Lunch and dinner included |
| Day 4 | After breakfast with a host family, we will visit the Chimborazo Volcano which is the highest in Ecuador, where we will see wild llamas, gorgeous landscapes, followed by a drive back to Quito, stopping to explore some small towns on the way. Overnight at the Alameda Real /Mercure. Breakfast and lunch included. |
| Day 5 | Tour ends in Quito. |
City Break Guayaquil
| Day 1 | Tour begins in Guayaquil. 2 nights at Hotel Oro Verde, one of the Leading Hotels of the World. |
| Day 2 | City tour of Guayaquil, lunch and transfer out to catch flight home. Dinner cruise on the Guayas River aboard the Captain Morgan S/S. |
| Day 3 | Tour ends in Guayaquil |
