Terms and Conditions

For individual clients, couples, or families, a deposit in the amount of 30% of the total cost is necessary in order to confirm your journey with us. The full payment is required at least 60 days prior to your departure date. Special exceptions can be made for city-tours and similar land-based excursions.

For university-sponsored programs and Galapagos cruise charters, a full deposit is sometimes needed to reserve your space. A special exception may be made if an individual is not prepared to make a full deposit. In those cases, a 50% deposit will suffice for the reservation.

We must also have your completed traveler information form at least 60 days prior to your departure. Upon confirming your journey, we will send you this document, which requests the following information: full name, passport number and nationality, flight information, dietary and other travel restrictions.

Children under the age of 6 are permitted only under certain conditions. Please contact us for more information. Children under the age of 11 receive a discount of 20%. All children 16 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In the unfortunate event that you must cancel your trip with us, please contact us immediately. If notice of your cancellation is received at least 120 days prior to your departure, we will return your entire deposit, save for $150 that we must keep to cover our administrative costs. If we receive notice between 120 and 30 days prior to your trip, you may be eligible for a partial reimbursement. If a cancellation occurs within 30 days of your departure date, we are unable to reimburse you.

In the case that a client has chartered an entire boat for a Galapagos cruise, there is a $5,000 penalty for canceling the reservation. This is a set fee and is not dependent on when the cancellation occurs.
