The Galapagos Islands are one of the greatest destinations on Earth and undoubtedly a unique place to scuba dive with a wide variety of species underwater. On an average dive it is possible to observe sea lions, manta rays, sea turtles, hammerheads and other shark species and its possible to dive with the whale shark depending on the season.

Galapagos Best offers live-aboard dive tours on the Aggressor fleet and the Deep Blue - three of a very small number of boats that are permitted this activity.

If your group includes non-divers, you might prefer one of our land-based dive tours, when dives can be booked on a daily basis. Or if the non-divers wish to learn, we can arrange PADI certificated dive courses.

All daily diving trips include 2 dives, transportation, lunch, towels and full set of scuba gear. Trips leaves with a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 10 accompanied by one or two dive masters depending on the size of the group. In addition the captain keeps track of the divers' whereabouts. The boat is equipped with a first aid kit, emergency oxygen, and VHF radio, which keeps permanent contact with the dive center. The gear is carefully checked on a regular basis to comply with international safety diving regulations and all divers are asked to present relevant diving certificates.

A half to one day introductory dive experience for non-divers

PADI Scuba Diver

If you are short with your time schedule, you can take this limited certification dive course that can be completed in two days. It involves some shallow water training and two open water dives.

PADI Open Water

The most recognized dive course in the world! This is a program to learn to dive that will enable you to do it anywhere once you get the certifications. It is a 3 to 4 days course involving shallow water training and 4 open water dives.

PADI Advanced

If you are already have your open water license, why not learn to improve your diving skills. It includes 5 dives (navigation and deep diving are mandatory plus 3 other types of diving). 2 days.
