Children

Children under six are accepted only under special provisions. Please contact us for more information.

Children under sixteen must be escorted by a parent or responsible adult.

Children under twelve pay 50% of the published rate.

Responsibility

The tour operator (Beauty Expeditions/Galapagos Best) and its agents act only as an agent for passengers in all matters pertaining to transportation, accommodation or other services.

The booking agents, airlines involved and the general agent will not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be caused by reason of any deficiency in any vehicle furnished by such other party, or failing to carry out arrangements previously agreed upon nor for the negligent misconduct of any such other party, are not being held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not aboard their conveyance.

Booking and Cancellation policies

Reservations & Payments

A 10% percent deposit is required for confirmation of your booking.

Full payment is required 60 days prior to arrival of all passengers to the country in which the tour begins (for Galapagos cruises, this is Ecuador).

60 days prior to arrival, the names of passengers, passport numbers, nationality, rooming list, allergies and food restrictions or any other information deemed essential, must also be provided by the client to Galapagos Best/Beauty Expeditions.

Cancellation policies for individual clients

If notice of cancellation is received 120 days prior to departure, we will refund your deposit minus US$ 150 in order to cover the agency’s administrative costs.

If notice is received between 31 and 119 days prior to departure, your deposit will be non-returnable.

If cancellation occurs between 30 days before departure, and the date of departure the full tour rate is charged as a cancellation fee.

In the case of Galapagos cruises, deposits and payments may be reimbursed only in the event that we are able to resell the spaces. This reimbursement will be made after the conclusion of the cruise.
